Who….are members of the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Journalists Association?
Members are professionals in the travel media: journalists, photographers, broadcasters, editors, publishers.
What…is the mission of the IGLTJA?
To offer an official Web site that lists travel media professionals and includes each member’s bio and samples of recently published works – travel stories, photographs, film clips, videos or audio broadcast.
To publish a monthly e-newsletter for tourism officials, travel vendors and suppliers – land, sea, and air – throughout the world, offering the IGLTJA as the premier source of qualified media professionals worldwide for both group and individual familiarization trips (FAMs).
When and how…do I become a member and expect IGLTJA to organize familiarization trips (FAMs)?
Join today: Send your name, address, telephone number, fax, bio (250 words) samples of recently published/broadcast work with permission for IGLTJA to post it on the latter’s Web site and include it in the monthly e-newsletter. The information you send will not be sold or shared with parties other than those listed on this announcement.
Where….are members located and what travel destinations have they written about lately?
IGLTJA’s goal is to have members in every country around the world who have recently published or broadcasted travel material that is featured on this official Web site. At the moment, current members have hundreds of stories in print, online and archived for viewing.
Why….would a media professional join IGTLJA?
Membership is free for a limited time. And, more importantly, it enhances your image, increases your visibility and ensures that you participate in more FAM trips. Membership also serves as an online resume to promote your career through a prestigious organization….IGLTJLA.
